This is a service provided by Fresenius Kabi, the aim of this initiative it to aid in reducing complications associated with central and peripheral lines e.g line sepsis. After initial discussions Fresenius Kabi nurses will liase closely with all interested and relevant parties including, microbiology, infection control, nursing, medics, dietitians and pharmacy. If required we will audit any available data of the current status and then develop a training plan which will be put in place to train all relevant staff. This can be reviewed on an ongoing and regular basis.
