Presentation

• Fresubin® thickened is a high protein, high energy 1.5kcal/ml, textured modified nutritional supplement drink rich in vitamins and trace elements in stage 1 and Stage 2 consistency.* 
• Fresubin® thickened Drink is ready to use and presented in a 200ml bottle. It is available in 2 consistencies in 2 flavours:
  • Fresubin® thickened (Stage 1)- Vanilla, Wild Strawberry,
  • Fresubin® thickened (Stage 2) - Vanilla Wild Strawberry.
• Lactose and gluten free.

Contra-Indications

• Not for parenteral use.
• Not suitable where enteral nutrition is not permitted.
• Not suitable for children under three years of age.

Precautions

• Should only be used under medical supervision.
• Use with caution in children under 5 years.

Indications for Use

Dosage

Dosage should be calculated by a clinician or Dietitian according to individual requirements. As a guide:

• For supplementary nutrition:
  3 x 200ml bottles per day will provide 60g protein, 900kcal and meets the average adult recommended daily requirements for vitamins, minerals and trace-elements# (DRV's, DH 1991). 
  (# except magnesium and electrolytes)

Storage

• Store in a cool place, do not store above 25°C.
• Once opened, can be stored for up to 24 hours in a refrigerator.

Shelf Life

• 12 months from date of manufacture.
